Day 2 — The Great Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum
After a relaxing breakfast, your private guide takes you to the Giza Plateau. This is home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You stand before the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus. You also see the famous Sphinx and the Valley Temple. You enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, your guide takes you to the world-famous Egyptian Museum. This museum was designed by French architect Marcel Dourgnon in an elegant neo-classical style. Inside, over 120,000 treasures are on display. These span from the predynastic era through the Pharaonic age to the Greco-Roman period. Afterward, you return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Four Nights, Hundreds of Memories
This journey is compact, but it is rich. It brings together the very best of Cairo and the coastal charm of Alexandria. Let us walk you through each day.
Day 1 — Arrival and a Magical Night on the Nile
You arrive in Cairo and are transferred to your hotel. Later in the evening, we pick you up again for something special. You board a beautiful Nile cruising restaurant for a two-hour dinner cruise. As your boat sails gently down the Nile, you enjoy a full dinner. A talented belly dancer performs for you. A folklore show brings Egyptian culture to life. Oriental music plays softly in the background. This is a warm and joyful way to begin your Egyptian story. Afterward, you return to your hotel for a restful night.
Day 2 — Saqqara and the Pyramids of Giza
After a relaxing breakfast, your private guide takes you to Sakkara. Here you see the Step Pyramid of Zoser. This is the oldest major stone structure in the entire world. It was built almost 4,700 years ago for King Djoser. From here, you travel to the Giza Plateau. This plateau is the seeding ground of myths and mysteries and memories. This is the number one item on the Bucket Lists of people from all cultures and generations.

Day 3 — A Day in Historic Alexandria
After breakfast, you travel to the Mediterranean coast to visit Alexandria. Your guide meets you there to begin a rich day of discovery. You visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina first. This modern library is a striking piece of 21st-century architecture. It honours the ancient Library of Alexandria, one of history’s greatest centres of learning.
Next, you visit Pompey’s Pillar. This grand column was built in honour of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. You then explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa.
This is the largest Roman cemetery in Egypt, cut three levels deep into solid rock. You enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Alexandria. In the evening, you check in to your hotel in Alexandria for an overnight stay by the sea.
Day 4 — The Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili
After breakfast, you check out and are transferred back to Cairo. Your guide meets you at the world-famous Egyptian Museum. This museum was designed by French architect Marcel Dourgnon in an elegant neo-classical style. Inside, over 120,000 treasures are on display. These span from the predynastic era through the Pharaonic age to the Greco-Roman period. You enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Afterward, you experience the lively atmosphere of Khan El Khalili. This historic bazaar is filled with colour, sound, and centuries of tradition. You can browse for spices, jewellery, and handmade crafts. In the evening, you return to your Cairo hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 5 — Final Departure
After a relaxing breakfast, you enjoy some leisure time at your hotel. When you are ready, we pick you up and transfer you to Cairo International Airport. Your final flight home brings a close to your Egyptian story, one that began with the same warm care it ends with.

Wonderful food is part of a wonderful trip. In Cairo, your meals are served buffet-style, so you always find something you enjoy. In Alexandria, you experience something different. Your meals are served at a proper set menu restaurant, giving you a true taste of the region’s flavour.
Your special Nile dinner cruise on the first evening includes a full dinner, served to you as you sail beneath the Cairo skyline. Menus will always include an “international” offering.
You will never feel uncomfortable by being offered unfamiliar cuisine. But we hope you will try our cuisine. If it was good enough for the Pharaohs, we know you will find something you love. If you happen to have an early flight or tour, we prepare a breakfast box in advance, so you are never left hungry.

Your 4-night journey includes accommodation in a quality Cairo hotel for the nights you spend there, along with your overnight stay in Alexandria. It includes private VIP ground transfers throughout your trip. It includes a private, English-speaking guide for every tour. It includes all entry fees for the historical sites mentioned above.
It includes one bottle of water for each day of your journey. It includes private meet-and-assist service at the airport through our expediter. It also includes every meal listed in your day-by-day itinerary, including your special Nile dinner cruise. A few things are not included, so you can plan ahead with confidence. These are your entry visa, tipping for your guide and drivers, any extra meals beyond those listed, beverages other than water, and any optional extra tours you may wish to add.
Pricing for the 4-Night Journey
Our 4-night package is priced per person, based on a shared double room in a 4-star hotel.
- For two travellers, the rate is $860 USD per person.
- For four travellers, the rate is $720 USD per person.
- For six travellers, the rate is $670 USD per person.
If you prefer a triple room, a reduction of $8 USD per person applies. If you prefer to travel alone, a single supplement of $200 USD applies.
